The Office of Economic Development’s Storefront Repair Fund is accepting applications until July 26, 2024, or until funds are exhausted. Businesses can apply for $2,000 grants (up to two) to help cover repair costs to current property damage or reimburse business owners for costs paid out-of-pocket for past damage.
Eligible storefront property damage includes broken doors, locks, fences, gates, signs, and broken or etching on windows that occurred on or after March 1, 2020. This grant will not cover loss of stolen goods or damage such as graffiti.
If you are a business owner who has only received one grant, and has experienced another eligible incident, we encourage you to apply. Please share this grant opportunity with small businesses in your network.
Interested businesses can review full eligibility criteria and apply here.
As of June 28, the Storefront Repair Fund has funded 700 grants for a total of $1.4 million distributed to businesses. We will share more about the future of this program later this year.
