Ever wanted to use the web to stay in touch with more of your neighbors – or find out what’s going on in a neighborhood close by? Now there’s a tool for that. The new Seattle Communities Tool provides an online forum for neighborhoods to interact with each other, and for residents within neighborhoods to network.
Users of the Seattle Communities Tool can:
- Access tips on how to post their own neighborhood blog or utilize another online social media tool
- Learn about social media and how they can use it to benefit their community
- Stay connected and up-to-date with other neighborhoods and communities around Seattle
For example, many Seattle community groups use Facebook pages, Twitter feeds, blogs, and websites to stay up-to-date on the latest neighborhood news. This web portal provides information that can help a group choose the right networking tools for them and, once implemented, use them effectively.
