The Seattle Square is a pilot community activation initiative in South Downtown’s Occidental Square. This outdoor market that kicked off on July 17th brings Seattleites together to activate the region’s oldest neighborhood while supporting local entrepreneurs as well as the business community in South Downtown. The Square is a community partnership with support from the City of Seattle’s DPD, Seattle Parks and Recreation, DSA, and TAPS.
From now until the end of September, Pioneer Square will be featuring the outdoor market from 11:00am – 5:00pm every Saturday.
Items that you can find at The Seattle Square include, locally designed apparel and accessories, vintage and mid-century modern furniture, delicious mobile food including skillet and parfait organic ice cream, letterpress cards, and much more.
Visit The Seattle Square’s website, to learn about the vendors, volunteer positions for the market, the music that will be playing at the market and many other details about this great, new outdoor market.
