Seattle’s old buildings should be maintained and upgraded as the city evolves. Reusing these old buildings is one of the best ways to improve the environment. CITY UNIVERSITY TO CREATE AN URBAN LEARNING CAMPUS IN SEATTLE

CityU of Seattle, a not-for-profit university, announced today it is moving its headquarters from Bellevue to downtown Seattle. “City University of Seattle will help enhance innovation and improve Seattle’s quality of life – two key elements of a city that can compete in the global economy,” said Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn. CityU expects 200 employees and 3,500 students at the new Seattle campus. CityU President Lee Gorsuch also announced that CityU is “offering City of Seattle employees, downtown Seattle businesses, and [its] alumni 20% off CityU tuition.” The Office of Economic Development is proud to have worked with CityU, providing site selection and other services.
