The West Seattle Farmers Market began operating in 1999 and features over 35 Washington State farmers and small food processors—from both sides of the state. The market offers berries, nectarines, vegetables, fresh farm cheese, meat, honey, and flowers, just to name a few!
Most weeks, the West Seattle market offers live music, kids activities, and other various events. But this weekend, the market will focus on celebrating Father’s Day with some freebies and prizes.
The celebration will feature grilled local meats, fruits, veggies, a free berry ice cream give-way, kids fruit skewers, free recipes and music by KTandHoops, and a drawing for a free Weber Grill.
The West Seattle Farmers Market takes place every Sunday in downtown West Seattle from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the corner of California and Alaska.
