China approves first foreign-owned senior care facility

Cascade Healthcare has received approval from the Shanghai government to open a senior care facility in China. While principle investor Dan Baty recognizes that “this first project is a prototype in the truest sense of the word,” he also says, “the need for senior care in China is staggering.” The hope is that this will be the first facility of many to come.
