The Manufacturing Industrial Council and Seattle Office of Economic Development are co-hosting a Recovery Finance Forum to introduce small and medium sized industrial businesses to capital financing fund opportunities fueled by the federal American Recovery Act.
This forum, to be held at the Georgetown campus of South Seattle Community College, will help industrial businesses determine what funding may work for them. Funds to be discussed include:
- Recovery Zone Bonds
- Seattle Fund
- New Market Tax Credit
- 504 SBA Loans
- 7a SBA Loans
- Express SBA Loans
- Energy Efficiency Financing
- Export Working Capital
This forum will take place on April 28th from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m.
Ken Takahashi, from the Office of Economic Development, will give a presentation on City/State Bond & Tax Credit Programs, such as the Recovery Zone Bonds (RZB), New Market Tax Credit (NMTC), and the Seattle Fund.
Linda Laws, from the Seattle District of the U.S. Small Business Administration, will give a presentation on Federal/SBA loan programs.
There will be allocated time for questions and answers, and then attendees will be released to participate in the information fair that will introduce them to all available financing programs.
