With the highest income per capita, and one of the lowest unemployment rates, Seattle has one of the strongest economies in the United States. The job market has picked back up since the recession, and employment opportunities are abundant. Here are the Seattle area employers who have the most job openings: Microsoft; with 4,277 available jobs, Amazon; with 3,534 available jobs, University of Washington; with 773 available jobs, Nordstrom; with 741 available jobs, and Providence Health and Services; with 661 available jobs.
