Today Seattle continues to set trends with innovative new businesses. Business Insider found the 23 coolest small businesses in Seattle. The list includes a top new bakery, a paper shredding company, and a kind of boat that people used to only dream about.

In the business world, your credibility is everything. It tells people whether they can count on you. It tells your customers, employees, bosses, and coworkers what they can expect from you. Credibility is a powerful thing, not just because it has so much impact on your future, but also because you have so much control over it. With rare exception, it’s more or less in your hands. Some of the pitfalls to avoid are: having all the answers, being too politically correct, and having no sense of humor or humility.
FOUR SEATTLE FOOD TRUCKS NAMED ‘BEST FOOD TRUCKS IN AMERICA’
On the Daily Meal’s recent list of 2013’s “Best Food Trucks in America,” four of Seattle’s own made the cut. Where Ya at Matt takes the number nine spot on the list, nestled around mobile kitchens from the major food truck hotspots: Los Angeles and New York City. Marination Mobile, El Camion, and Maximus/Minimus also take spots further down the list. Sadly, Portland’s big talk about having more food trucks than us has no real bite on this ranking, with only two spots going to their city’s food trucks.
