In recognition of Small Business Week, June 17-21, the IRS is conducting a series of free events and webinars for small business on a variety of subjects.

Small Business Administration National Small Business Week Event at Microsoft
Monday, June 17, 2013 from 7:30 AM to 3:15 PM
SBA and experts from the Seattle business community will discuss and share resources on how to start or grow a business. This is the first time National Small Business Week is traveling coast-to-coast with the kickoff in the Seattle area. Morning panel topics include growing and going global with supply chains, discussion on the Seattle area entrepreneurial ecosystem and an armchair interview with SBA Administrator Karen Mills and special guest speakers. The afternoon breakout session topics include government contracting opportunities for women-owned small businesses, speed mentoring with SBA resource partners, resources for tribal businesses, social media 101, protecting your business against cyber security threats and breaking into a supply chain. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided courtesy of Microsoft.
