IRS Webinar: Business and Taxes for the Self-Employed (Spanish)
This free one hour web seminar will be presented in Spanish with a live Q&A discussing the information needed to understand how taxes affect your business. Covering types of reporting, tax and payment estimates, deductions, and much more, once the webinar is finished you will receive a certificate of completion.

Did you know that the IRS web site has been updated? The new site went “live” on August 30. Navigation is the most significant change — there are new colors, new headings and a completely new way to navigate the site. However, to maintain a measure of continuity between the old and new, a pull down menu list called “Information for …” at the top right incorporates virtually all content from the old site under familiar headings such as “Individuals ,” “Businesses” and “Charities & Non-Profits.”
Entrepreneurship Symposium
The Washington State Microenterprise Association is convening community-minded and entrepreneurial leaders to share, learn, and discuss the role of micro and small business during this economic recovery. With a focus on innovative approaches, this Symposium will address methods and resources to start, grow, and expand business to create jobs and promote economic independence for underserved individuals and disadvantaged communities.
