Summer may have arrived late in Seattle, but you still have time to make the most of the weather! The Othello Park International Music and Arts Festival will be held on August 19th. Go kick back and relax to some of the best music Seattle has to offer, including Michael Powers, Angelo Pizarro, and Choklate!
The Festival is a free event and part of the Rainier Valley Culture Fest, which is a celebration of music, food, arts, and activities as diverse as the cultures that reside in the Valley. On August 19th the celebration starts at noon and continues through 6 p.m. at Othello Park, just a block east of the Othello Light Rail Station.
You can stop by local food vendors at the event and fill your belly without emptying your wallets. There will be plenty of excitement for the younger ones – entertain the kids with creative activities including a hands-on pottery wheel, mask making and henna tattoos. Music, food, families, and fun, there is no better way to celebrate summer in Seattle!
You can visit the Othello Park Alliance Twitter and Facebook pages for updates on the artists, vendors, performers, and sponsors of the Othello Park International Music & Arts Festival.
