On July 31st from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. the Washington Global Health Alliance will be holding an event with a panel to talk about partnerships between non-profit global health organizations and for-profit entities. The panelists will highlight the challenges, successes and impact, providing an engaging way to learn more about how you and your company can get involved in global health. The free event will be held at the Next 50 Pavillion, Tuesday, July 31.

This free event will be held at the Next 50 Pavilion (between EMP and the Armory/Center House) on Seattle Center grounds. It features a private tour of the Global Health Experience Exhibit and a panel discussion focused on non-profit and private sector collaborations in global health. Complementary beverages and light appetizers provided.

One great example of a local business expanding into the global health market is ScanMyList. The business developed a mobile app that allows a cell phone to be used as a purchasing agent that can scan product codes, track quantities and select which merchants to buy from.
