The time has arrived for OED’s third monthly City Business Casual! Join Seattle’s Office of Economic Development and City Council President Richard Conlin on Thursday, March 25th at Polar Bar (700 3rd Ave.) from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. for an evening of mingling and conversation. More than 150 people attended City Business Casual in January and February, and our March event may be our best yet!
City Business Casual is a new monthly, informal gathering that provides the Seattle business community with direct access to business-focused city officials, including influential city leaders and key department heads and representatives.
No pre-registration for City Business Casual is necessary. The sessions do not include a formal program, but Office of Economic Development staff will actively make introductions and connections. Business owners and advocates will also have a chance to ask questions, suggest ideas, and troubleshoot specific issues in an informal and relaxed setting.
In 2010, close collaboration and information exchange are essential for Seattle businesses to rebuild and grow. City Business Casual is a great new way to facilitate growth in Seattle’s thriving local business community.
