Mayor Proclaims December 20 ‘Easy Street Records’ Day in Seattle

As part of the In Good Company Program, Seattle Mayor Mike McGinn has declared today, December 20, 2012, to be ‘Easy Street Records Day’ in Seattle. This proclamation follows a November In Good Company spotlight in which Easy Street Records was recognized by the mayor for its stability, longevity, and active involvement in the Seattle music community.

In addition, Easy Street Records embodies the diverse musical styles that Seattle produces, and have been recognized for breaking new bands out of the Northwest, allowing young artists to be heard by promoting, stocking, and selling local music of all genres.

Members of Seattle’s Office of Economic Development and the Seattle Metropolitan Chamber delivered a gift basket to Owner Matt Vaughan and Easy Street Records staff today.
